Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL’s) refer to the more complex tasks necessary for an individual to live independently and manage daily life effectively. Unlike personal Activities of Daily Living (PADLs), which involve essential self-care tasks (e.g., bathing, dressing, eating), IADLs typically require higher-level cognitive, organisational, and physical functioning.
